2013 Mental Health and Addiction Conference: Coming Together for a Healthy Ohio

The Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, the Ohio Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities Agency, and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, will be hosting the 2013 Mental Health and Addiction Conference: Coming Together for a Healthy Ohio on December 16-17, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio.

This conference will be the first of its kind in Ohio, bringing together partners from throughout Ohio to address a variety of behavioral health issues. The afternoon of December 16th will include three pre-conference workshops. The main conference will occur on December 17th where two plenary sessions and over 30 breakout sessions will provide multi-systemic educational opportunities to all attendees. Continuing education credits have been approved for the following disciplines:

• Chemical Dependency Counselors – 10.25 RCHs
• Nurses (RN/LPN) – 10.25 Contact Hrs.
• Psychologists – 10.25 MCEs
• Counselors – 10.25 CPEs
• Attorneys – 8 CLEs
• Social Workers – 10.25 CPEs
• Physicians – 10.25 CMEs
