2013 Clinical and Community Linkages Conference: Psychosocial Distress Screening and Oncology Supportive Care Services
An exciting event in advancing cancer care in Ohio

This first-of-its-kind-in-Ohio event will take place from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Friday June 14 2013 at the Quest Business Center, 8405 Pulsar Place, Columbus, Ohio.

The focus of this conference is on the development and demonstration of psychosocial support services, to strengthen the link between medical, social, and emotional health, based on the 2012 American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accreditation standards.  The intended audiences are physicians, social workers, and professional caregivers who directly interact with cancer patients and their families.

The integration of psychosocial distress screening into cancer treatment is a system change in which medical professionals from different disciplines work together to treat the total patient, as is done in the patient-centered medical home model of care. This level of integration helps provide Ohioans with a higher quality of care and information they need to increase their level of health at every stage of life.

Please consider attending this cutting-edge conference as we move forward to enhanced care for all cancer patients in Ohio.  There is no registration fee but space is limited, so please register TODAY! You may register online at: www.healthyohioprogram.org/CCLC.
