Clients often struggle to open up spontaneously about the things that are really bothering them. A little creativity may be the answer! You don't have to have a lot of special equipment or the skill set of Picasso; just a new perspective to see how games, toys, and basic art supplies can be therapeutic. We will show you how everyday items can be used for individual, group, and family interventions. We will use sand trays, board games, manipulatives, and basic art techniques to fill your counseling tool kit. You won't leave empty-handed! If a professional certificate is required, choose which one(s) and add $10 for each to the fee. Approved for 6 hours of continuing education credit for nursing home administrators (BENHA), counselors, marriage & family therapists, nurses, and social workers.

CEUs: 6.00  Hours: 6.00

Fee: $99
