Spirituality plays an important role in the recovery process
from mental illness. People who are experiencing mental health problems and/or are thinking about suicide often turn to their faith-based leadership for help. The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County and the Cuyahoga County Suicide Prevention Task Force would like to be considered a resource and provide you with the tools needed to assist you in your ministry.

You or your designee are cordially invited to attend a FREE
breakfast and training especially designed for members of
the faith-based community - Hope & Connection: Suicide
Prevention in Faith Communities.

Registration & buffet breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m., and the presentation will be from 9:00 a.m. - noon on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland Downtown, 1100 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland, OH 44115.

FREE parking will be available in the hotel parking lot on a first-come, first- served basis.

This event provides an opportunity for you to meet and interactwith people who provide suicide prevention and mental health services in our community, and hear from Russell Crabtree, a former Presbyterian Minister and founder of BestMinds, LLC, a company that helps groups address the issues of suicide awareness and family violence intervention. Mr. Crabtree offers consulting services on a variety of topics to religious and non-profit organizations. He has been trained in ASIST, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, an evidence based skill building suicide prevention strategy and has trained thousands of people from all walks of life in suicide awareness.
